Let's sketch the fall leaves reflected in the Chattahoochee River. The first week of November is the peak of fall color for our area. At this time of day, we can hopefully catch the last rays of sunlight lighting up the trees. The Roswell rowing club frequently rows this section of river, and there are volleyball courts, exercise areas and walking trails if you prefer to sketch people in action. There are always dog walkers, rollerbladers and fishermen. There are built in stone steps leading to the river across from the volleyball court where we can sketch from. There are also a few floating docks. There is free parking and restroom facilities are available.
