A manga workshop for high-schoolers where we will learn about-- and draw-- cute and funny "4-koma" manga.About this Event
4-koma (or Yonkoma) comics are a form of Japanese manga where all of the action takes place in four panels. Popular 4-koma manga include beloved humor titles like Azumanga Daioh and Sunshine Sketch, while many manga megahits like One Punch Man also sometimes utilize the format of 4-koma strips.
After hearing about the history and art of the 4-koma, young artists will create their own 4-koma strips-- or perhaps a whole series! For high school students; all materials provided.
