Hi Everyone and thank you for your interest in my fundraiser. At the age of 18 I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. My late teens and twenties were a scary time for my family and for me. CURE has always been a great resource for us in navigating uncharted waters. I have been fortunate to have fabulous support from family, friends and top of the line neurologists and have been seizure free for years. In honor of my ongoing good health and my upcoming 40th birthday I'm organizing a fundraiser to give back to CURE so that further research in epilepsy can continue. We will walk or run for 40 minutes on September 19th. I welcome anyone to join me in Gloucester for that walk or to participate virtually. Move in any way that works for you!
