Bio-Native Californian singer Leta Gibney has a sultry, down-earth sound born of the mountains of Grass Valley. A self-taught songwriter from the age of 20, she frequented Spain to study Flamenco. Rooted in the acoustic Spanish traditions of dance and music, she spent decades honing the heritage of the Flamenco art form while performing with Flamenco del Oro throughout California.
Leta's new sound combines her smoky, storied voice with Baritone Ukulele and Wurlitzer piano to create a raw yet full sound that harkens back to an era lost in music, while speaking to poignant themes that resonate in the current times. Her new original music combines acoustic colors with influences from many genres. She finds inspiration in talented artists she has met throughout the world, who frequently guest star in her music.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
