About this Event
We are excited to offer two events with lesbian researcher and author Elizabeth Lovatt, to celebrate Southwark Libraries' Festival of Words and the Southwark LGBTQ+ Staff Network's Pride programme. Tickets can be booked for either event, or both.
14:00-16:00 - 'Lesbian in the Archive Workshop'
Come explore lesbian and queer history in the Southwark Archives! Elizabeth Lovatt will be on hand to share her own experiences doing queer research and lead creative responses. Held in conjunction with Southwark Archives, at the back of John Harvard Library.
17:30-18:30 - Author talk: Elizabeth Lovatt
Elizabeth will be discussing her book, Thank you for calling the lesbian line, including the research that informed it. There will be an opportunity for book signings and a Q&A.
This event is open to all, regardless of library membership.
