Een halve eeuw muziek in de Franse Gemeenschap, dat is een lange geschiedenis vol emoties en herinneringen! Les Lundis d’Hortense viert dit jubileum tjidens een spectaculaire double bill met een reeks grootheden die de afgelopen vijftig jaar kleur gaven.
Nathalie Loriers 1, 2, 3 Piano
Al meer dan 35 jaar staat Nathalie Loriers te boek als een onmisbare muzikante, geroemd om haar verfijning en gevoeligheid. Als pianiste met een herkenbare eigen touch, geïnspireerde componiste en uitzonderlijk improvisator bouwde ze een rijk oeuvre op van een dozijn albums en talrijke prestigieuze samenwerkingen met onder meer Toots Thielemans, Lee Konitz en het Brussels Jazz Orchestra. Ter gelegenheid van de 50ste verjaardag van Les Lundis d’Hortense en haar eigen 60ste verjaardag verzamelt ze verschillende trouwe muzikale metgezellen rond zich. Van solopiano tot sextet, via diverse bezettingen die haar carrière hebben vormgegeven, nodigt Nathalie Loriers ons uit voor een bijzonder concert: een reis door haar oeuvre.

Les Lundis d'Hortense dagen zichzelf uit om terug te blikken op hun eigen bijdrage aan de Belgische jazzscene. Uit verschillende generaties muzikanten stelden ze een tentet samen met een gedroomde line-up. Dit sterrenensemble blaast composities van muzikanten die deze 50 jaar geschiedenis hebben gekenmerkt nieuw leven in dankzij arrangementen die speciaal voor deze gelegenheid gecreëerd werden. Een concert om terug te blikken, te vieren en vooruit te kijken: wees erbij voor dit muzikale vuurwerk waarover we de komende 50 jaar waarschijnlijk nog vaak zullen spreken!

Depuis plus de 35 ans, Nathalie Loriers s’est imposée en artiste incontournable, reconnue pour son exigence et sa sensibilité. Pianiste au toucher singulier, compositrice inspirée et improvisatrice d’exception, elle a construit une œuvre riche d’une douzaine d’albums et multiplié les collaborations prestigieuses avec Toots Thielemans, Lee Konitz ou le Brussels Jazz Orchestra. Pour célébrer les 50 ans des Lundis d’Hortense ainsi que son soixantième anniversaire, elle réunit autour d’elle plusieurs complices de longue date. Du piano solo au sextet, en passant par différentes formations qui ont jalonné son parcours, Nathalie Loriers nous invite à un concert exceptionnel : un voyage à travers son œuvre.

Half a century of jazz in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation makes for a long history filled with emotions and memories. To celebrate this milestone, Les Lundis d’Hortense are pulling out all the stops with a spectacular double bill featuring a number of major artists who shaped the past fifty years.

For over 35 years, Nathalie Loriers has established herself as an essential figure, widely acclaimed for her refinement and sensitivity. A pianist with a distinctive touch, an inspired composer, and an exceptional improviser, she has built a rich body of work spanning a dozen albums, alongside numerous prestigious collaborations with the likes of Toots Thielemans, Lee Konitz, and the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. To celebrate both the 50th anniversary of Les Lundis d’Hortense and her own 60th birthday, she brings together several long-standing musical companions. From solo piano to sextet, through the various line-ups that have shaped her career, Nathalie Loriers invites us on a special journey through her musical universe.
