Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo \u2013 Mixed Bill

For almost 50 years, the all-male comedy ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (affectionately known as “the Trocks”) have been delighting audiences of all ages at sell-out performances featuring their fabulous sense of fun and their flawless dance.
Originally from New York, the Trocks are now loved world-wide for their sassy spoofs and hilarious homages to classical ballet.
Every performance frivolously froths with tutus and testosterone, blush-pink ballet pumps, fierce false eyelashes and prima ballerina attitude. However, what makes this company extraordinary is their immaculate technique and daring physicality, surpassed only by their impeccable comic timing.
The repertoire includes Swan Lake; Pas de Deux or modern work or solo to be announced; Metal Garden (UK premiere); Dying Swan; Paquita.
📍 Venue Description: The Peacock Theatre often plays host to dance performances, conferences, ballet, pop concerts and award ceremonies. The stage is approximately 36 feet (11 m) by 33 feet (10 m).
The 999-seat house is owned by and comprises part of the London School of Economics and Political Science campus, who utilise the theatre for lectures, public talks, conferences, political speeches, and open days. The university has a long lease with Sadler's Wells with whom it has negotiated a deal to bring in commercial companies under the banner "Sadler's Wells in the West End".
### **The History Of The Peacock Theatre**
The present, smaller theatre was built and christened The Royalty Theatre in 1960, located on the basement level of an office building but was later bought by the London School of Economics and renamed The Peacock Theatre. The Rat Pack played at the theatre in 2002, and Doldrum Bay premièred here in 2003.
