Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Tenor is one of the most celebrated farces ever written—a riotous, fast-paced comedy that has been delighting audiences around the world for decades. Set in 1930s Cleveland, the play follows the chaotic events surrounding the arrival of world-famous opera star Tito Merelli, whose highly anticipated performance threatens to collapse in spectacular fashion. What follows is a whirlwind of mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, slamming doors, outrageous misunderstandings and non-stop laughter.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd
