Dive into the icy world of Arctic Science
Join us for a hands-on STEM experience at Staples featuring the Arctic Animals Science Kit (45203) from LEGO® Education and see if you have what it takes to survive the freeze.
Kids will explore the fascinating world of Arctic animals while building, experimenting, and solving fun challenges. This interactive session is designed to spark curiosity and encourage STEM learning through play.
What to expect, kids will:
- Build, Solve, Invent: Move beyond instructions! We’ll give kids a problem to solve, and use their creativity to "invent" a solution using the kit’s extra pieces. Session Challenge: Build a walrus with moving fins and create a specialized underwater vehicle to help scientists collect "samples" from the ocean floor.
- Explore nature and scientific concepts in a fun, engaging way
- Collaborate and share ideas with other kids
Why Attend?
This isn't just building, it's real-world science. Participants will develop critical thinking and engineering skills while exploring animal adaptations and Arctic habitats in a fun, collaborative environment. Space is limited!
Age Eligibility: Due to the advanced LEGO activity, participants need to be 9 years of age or older.
The event runs from 5 pm to 6 pm, with children enjoying a 45-minutes building session.
We want every child to enjoy this creative LEGO® Education experience! Each participant will receive a LEGO® mini set after the session, but specific models are limited and may vary based on availability.
To keep things fair for all families:
- One kit is provided per participant
- Multiple registrations by the same child will be adjusted so everyone has a chance to join
