Your Voice. Your Community. Your Future.Join PEACE NW on October 22nd for a Disability Candidates Forum designed to bring community members and candidates together for meaningful conversations about issues impacting people with disabilities and their families.
What makes this forum different?
Rather than a traditional candidate forum with speeches and limited opportunities for questions, this event will feature roundtable discussions with candidates from your district.
This interactive format gives attendees the opportunity to:
Connect directly with candidates running for office.
Ask questions about issues important to the disability community.
Share personal experiences, concerns, and perspectives.
Learn where candidates stand on policies that impact people with disabilities and their families.
Why should you attend?
Decisions made by elected officials influence access to healthcare, education, employment, housing, transportation, independent living, and other essential services.
This forum is an opportunity to ensure candidates hear directly from the people and communities impacted by those decisions.
Everyone is welcome! We encourage people with disabilities, family members, caregivers, advocates, service providers, and community members to participate.
