About the Event:
Research tells us that men and boys are more likely to engage when support is built around strengths, connection, and positive role models. That’s the thinking behind Legends of Launceston, an event that celebrates the contribution of local men while promoting health, wellbeing, and community connection.
Presented by World Street Eats and supported by Jess Teesdale MP, Legends of Launceston will be held at Riverbend Park on 20 November from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm in recognition of International Men’s Day.
Through a combination of live entertainment, health and wellbeing initiatives, community activities, and recognition of local role models, the event aims to bring people together, strengthen community connections, and celebrate the men and boys who help make Northern Tasmania a better place.
Live Music and Entertainment:
World Street Eats will deliver its popular festival atmosphere, featuring a great selection of food vendors, entertainment, and live performances from Bad Dad Orchestra, For Those About to Rock, and Raccoon Dog.
