There’s a seat waiting for you at the table.
The Northern Ellis County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America invites you to Legacy at the Table, a meaningful afternoon celebrating the stories, traditions, flavors, and values we pass from one generation to the next, along with the new memories we are creating together.
Throughout the afternoon, families will move through four interactive experiences designed to engage children of all ages.
- Step into the Culinary Lab for a hands-on taste of something sweet.
- Build confidence and polish in our Etiquette Masterclass.
- Visit the Legacy Wall to share the story behind a favorite holiday dish, family recipe, or tradition.
- Then roll up your sleeves in the Gratitude and Giving Room, where we will assemble Thanksgiving meal boxes for local families in partnership with the 4:19 Food Pantry in Red Oak.
After the activities, we’ll come together for the heart of the afternoon: a fully catered Friendsgiving meal shared around one table.
Good food. Good conversation. Meaningful service. New memories. A legacy in the making.
And when the plates are cleared, don’t rush off. We’ll have a little something extra planned for guests who want to stay, connect, and enjoy the afternoon a little longer.
Bring your family. Bring a friend. Come hungry and leave full in more ways than one.
Our goal is to assemble 50 Thanksgiving meal boxes for the 4:19 Food Pantry. Guests are encouraged to help us reach that goal by contributing the following requested items:
- Boxed stuffing
- Canned corn
- Canned green beans
- Boxed macaroni and cheese
- Canned cranberry sauce
- Gravy mix packets
- Cornbread mix

This event is open to the public.
Attire: Cozy fall casual. Think jeans, sweaters, boots, flannels, casual fall dresses, and warm seasonal tones.
