We have an inspirational line-up of speakers who will share their experiences, insights and practical ideas around creating more inclusive workplaces
We are delighted and privileged to welcome Ed Whiting, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council to open this event and hear about the importance of Inclusive Growth across our city.
Rebecca Stone from GIPSIL will explore The Strength of Care Experienced People in the Workplace, sharing how employers can benefit from the significant resilience and strengths care-experienced employees bring to the workplace.
We’re also delighted to welcome Miguelle, a former Lighthouse Futures Trust intern, who has successfully secured a role with the NHS. Miguelle will share her journey from Supported Internship into paid employment and what this means to her and her family.
Emily Zervos, Manager, Workplace, Culture and Development from Squire Patton Boggs will be discussing their Workplace Culture & Development Strategy at SPB.
We will also be sharing a number of free resources designed for employers around supporting neurodivergent employees in the workplace and becoming a more inclusive employer.
The event is a great opportunity for employers and organisations to connect, share best practice and explore how we can work together to create more inclusive employment opportunities across Leeds.
