Following the sad news of Lee Evans’ passing on Monday 19th October after a courageous battle through ill health, this event is an opportunity for the running community and those who knew him to come together and share stories of the lovely Everton mad bloke with a quick wit that he was. We’d be so grateful if you could attend. The plan:
- By 09:00 Meet at RunBont meeting point (Car park opposite Pontarddulais Library).
- 09:00 Short service with a minute’s silence.
Those that are running:
- 09:10 Set off on run up to Cefn Drum cairn.
- On Arrival at cairn - appreciate the stunning views (weather/visibility permitting) and lay memorial stone.
- Return from cairn to Bont library.
- Coffee/cake at local vendors.
If attending:
- please acknowledge this event.
- please wear something blue to represent Lee’s love for his beloved Everton.
- Run club shirts if you have one
Thank you!
