🧠 Lecture: "The Existentialist Guide to Living Authentically"
🎤 Speaker: Jeremy Evans
Join us for a thought-provoking evening as Jeremy Evans guides us through the rich tradition of Existentialist philosophy to uncover what it means to live authentically in a world that often pushes us toward conformity. Drawing on thinkers like Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Sartre, this talk examines how we can intentionally craft meaning within our brief and finite lives.
Existentialists challenge us to embrace freedom, responsibility, and the discomfort that comes with genuine autonomy, while also acknowledging our deep need for social belonging. Contemporary psychology now confirms that meaningful pursuits are central to a life well-lived, echoing many of the Existentialists’ core insights.
Together, we’ll explore how their ideas can help us navigate the tension between acceptance and independence, and how an authentic pursuit of meaning can foster human flourishing—for ourselves and for the broader society.
