About this Event
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s years in the United States became an important chapter in the history of The Little Prince. During World War II, the French writer and aviator lived in New York, where he worked on the book before its first publication in French and English in 1943.
Organized by Alliance Française Miami Metro, Saint-Exupéry and the Americas explores this lesser-known connection between the author and the Americas, as well as the lasting cultural legacy of his most celebrated work. Thierry Chaunu, President of the American Society of Le Souvenir Français, will lead the presentation, followed by a Q&A session and cocktail reception with wine and a buffet by La Croquantine.
