When it was founded in 2016, The Florida Manta Project was the first and only long-term study of Manta Rays in the continental U.S. Since then, we’ve used plane, boat, and drone-based surveys to begin to uncover the mysteries of Florida’s mantas- including the discovery of a new manta species! Come celebrate World Manta Day by learning about FMP’s research, what we’ve learned in 10 years of study, and what manta mysteries still remain to be discovered.
