Christianity and the Welfare State
Tueday 17th November, 7-8:15pm
in the Minster
In this lecture we'll shine a light on Christianity and it's crucial role in the development of our welfare state in this country. We'll consider if it has it anything to say as we rethink welfare at a time of great economic pressure and if so what.
