About this Event
Join us at The Heatherley School of Fine Art for an engaging lecture exploring the life and art of Caravaggio, one of history’s most provocative painters.
This talk will focus on Caravaggio’s turbulent life, radical approach to painting, and groundbreaking depiction of angels: figures of flesh and wings that challenge traditional ideals of divinity. Special attention will be given to Victorious Cupid, currently on display in London for a special exhibition from Berlin’s Gemäldegalerie.
Michael Ajerman, acclaimed painter and lecturer, will guide attendees through Caravaggio’s emotional realism, dramatic biblical narratives, and enduring artistic legacy.
