Christmas is a time of love, togetherness and cherished memories. But for many of us, it is also a time when we feel the absence of someone special just that little bit more.
This Christmas, the Friends of Stoney Royd Cemetery warmly invite you to join us for Leave a Light On, a gentle afternoon of remembrance, reflection and community, where we will come together to honour those who may no longer be beside us, but who will always have a place in our hearts.
Whether you have recently lost someone or have carried their memory for many years, you are welcome. Come along, share a moment of peace, find comfort in the company of others and remember that you are never alone in your love or your grief.
You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to know anyone. Just come as you are. There is a place for you here.
Because at Christmas, even when someone is missing from our table, their light never truly leaves our hearts.
