Join leather artist Silvia Guerrera for a hands-on Leather Journal Workshop where slow craft meets timeless design.In this creative workshop, you’ll work with beautifully coloured, polished, vegetable-tanned leather to create your own handcrafted leather journal from start to finish. Designed for beginners and curious creatives alike, this session gently guides you through traditional leather working techniques in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Your main leather pieces will be pre-cut for ease of assembly, allowing you to focus on learning essential skills including cutting, trimming, hole punching, saddle stitching with waxed thread, edge burnishing, conditioning leather, and assembling your journal with confidence.
You’ll also learn how to burnish leather edges for a smooth, professional finish and have the option to emboss your initials to make your journal uniquely yours.
A smart A5 journal insert is included, ready to be filled with sketches, thoughts, lists, or creative ideas long after the workshop ends.
PLEASE NOTE: This class is suitable for age 12 and over and for safety reasons, we request that guests wear fully enclosed shoes.
