About this Event
You don't realize just how many Tom Petty songs you know until someone starts playing them back to back.
Learning to Fly returns to SanTan Gardens on Friday, February 5th, bringing the music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers to life with the kind of attention to detail longtime fans can appreciate.
Led by Scott Hallock, who takes on the unmistakable voice and presence of Tom Petty, this Arizona-based tribute goes beyond simply playing the hits. The band recreates the original arrangements using vintage Vox, Fender, Gibson and Gretsch instruments to capture the guitar tones, harmonies and laid-back rock & roll sound that made Petty's music so recognizable.
From "American Girl" and "Refugee" to "Free Fallin'," "Mary Jane's Last Dance" and "Learning to Fly," Tom Petty gave us decades of songs that somehow never get old.
Come spend a Friday night with the music that still sounds just as good as it did the first time you heard it.
