Learning Day: Fundraising Megamix Part 1, 2026

A workshop sandwiching training with hands on activities.

A great introduction to various fundraising topics for Lewisham groups. Each section will have input from a trainer followed by the chance to put into practice what you are learning. For instance, learn about the structure of a Fundraising Strategy and then have the chance to work on your own strategy with Karen available to answer questions.

For the best experience bring a device, like a fully charged lap top as we will send the slides beforehand so you can get working on the activities during the day.

Who are the workshops for?

These workshops are for Lewisham community groups/sports groups who:

• Want to know more about fundraising
• Are interested in meeting others that they could work with

It will be a full on fun day and you will go away having made a start on your fundraising plans and having met others who you may want to work with in the future.

This is Part 1 - you can attend one or all Megamix days, but they do compliment one another.

The Venue

The sessions will be held face to face at Bellingham Leisure Centre’s community room. The room is on the upstairs with lift. There is a disabled toilet.

We encourage you to use public transport.

Food

We will have a very basic lunch and you are welcome to buy more from the café downstairs. Please be in touch ASAP with any dietary requirements as Karen will be ordering the food beforehand.

Final words

We will be taking photos and sharing these with The WIP, Action For Community Development and Lewisham Local. Photos may be used for marketing, on our website, socials, reporting and the like. If you do not want to have your photo taken please let us know on the day and add a cross to your name badge.
