About this Event

The bit of advice from journalists we heard at Roxhill most in 2025 was when pitching, have a go at writing the headline you think would work with your story. Journalists are increasingly thinking about how headlines online are going to catch readers' attention and if you can come up with a real zinger for your story, you're much more likely to secure that commission. We'll be joined by the Telegraph's Head of Lifestyle, Jess Carpani, a master of the headline, to learn how to extract the top line from your story, how to adapt your headline to the publication you're pitching to, and some tips and tricks to really make your line sing.

Seats are £50 and are limited to 50 PRs. Please submit a question for the journalists on the booking form – attendees will have the chance to ask follow ups during the session. Book now if you want to join us.

Cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before an event. You can transfer to a different session up to 48 hours before the event (subject to availability), and delegate substitutions are accepted at any time. Please contact our event team at for cancellation, transfer and substitution requests. Please note the line up may be subject to change. In this circumstance we will try our hardest to book in a similar journalist. If this isn't suitable, you may request a refund
