A gathering tray woven from willow has many stories yet to tell.Find more info at: https://www.halfmoonbaskets.com/weekend-of-weaving-november-2026#gathering-tray
It might wander into the garden to gather berries, find its way to the table laden with bread and crackers, or rest on a shelf cradling tiny treasures.
Together, we’ll explore the foundations of willow weaving, learning to work with the natural bends and curves of the willow as we shape our trays with the help of a simple wooden jig.
By the end of our time together, you’ll have a gathering tray of your own, ready for whatever adventures await it.
No previous weaving experience is needed. Beginners are very welcome.
