About this Event
Ever wanted to learn Mahjong but didn't know where to start? This hands-on workshop is your perfect entry point. Whether you've admired the beautiful tiles from afar or you're looking for a new game-night obsession, Rebecca will walk you through everything you need to know to sit down and play with confidence.
You'll be grouped into tables of four — just like a real game — and learn the ins and outs from the ground up: the tiles, the terminology, the rules, the strategy, and the rhythm of play. By the end of the session, you won't just understand Mahjong — you'll have actually played it.
No experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend).
What you'll learn:
The tiles, suits, and how the game is set up
Core rules and gameplay flow
Reading your hand and basic strategy
Etiquette and the social rhythm of the table
Enough confidence to host or join your own game
