About this Event
Learn basic mending skills and share creative ideas that reduce textile waste! The Merri Menders invite you to a mending circle at the Coburg Library Makerspace: bring something that needs mending and mend together!
September Theme: Learn to Mend!
Each session will include mini workshops on various darning and other mending techniques for different types of clothing. Application often depends on preference for visible or invisible mends. Remember getting the garment mended is an achievement!!
Monday 7th September, 11am - 12:30pm
Thursday 24th September, 6pm -7.30pm
Sewing needles, threads and patches are available in the Makerspace, or bring your own kit.
Just drop in, or stay the whole time - you are welcome!
