Join us for fall craft camp! $15 materials fee payable to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop.
The handcrafted brooms made in this class will be suitable for sweeping, decoration, or both! This class is for beginners.
Please read the following regarding physical requirements: Broommaking is a physically strenuous craft and requires moderate upper body strength as well as moderate hand dexterity and strength. Students will also be using their feet to control their foot treadle. This class will be mostly seated.
Suitable footwear: Tennis shoes, boots, etc. Students may find it more difficult if wearing shoes that aren’t secured to their feet such as flip flops. Students are advised to wear long pants while working with broomcorn, as skin irritation can occur.
This workshop is part of our Fall Craft Camp, your ticket includes a cozy Soup Party with homemade bread for lunch from 12-1, a popup shop of hand crafted wares from our talented instructors, a canvas craft tote, and a merit badge.
