Have you ever needed to hem pants, shirt sleeves, or replace a button? This workshop covers the fundamentals of needle and thread so you can love your clothes longer and make those thrift finds actually fit! No experience needed, just come!
Key techniques we will cover:
• How to thread a needle.
• What is hemming?.
• Straight stitch and Herringbone stitch.
• Common button designs and how to sew them.
• Popular visible mending designs, including Sashiko (Japanese visible mending).
Note: We will NOT be covering advanced sewing techniques, patterns, or anything that requires a sewing machine.

Simply look for an upcoming Help session and let us know ([email protected]) which session you'd like to attend at least 48 hours before the session starts. Please note that the same cancellation and rescheduling policy applies to the Help session.
