Join Bruno Allard and members of Djugdjug Ensemble for a 4-week Learn to Drum class. You'll learn to play the djembe through rhythms and songs from West Africa. No prior experience or drum needed. It is intended as an introductory class, but all levels are welcome, as we can differentiate for different levels of the group. For example, intermediate players can learn to more difficult djembe parts, the dunduns, or improve improvisation.Location: Performance Center, Horton High School.
Cost: $60 (40 for students)
