Learn to Crochet: 6-Week Beginner Course
Always wanted to learn to crochet but don’t know where to start? Join us for a fun and relaxed 6-week crochet course where you’ll learn essential stitches and techniques while creating a collection of beautiful crochet pieces along the way.
Rather than trying to learn everything in one session, we’ll build your skills week by week, giving you plenty of time to practise and gain confidence.
What will we learn?
Week 1 – Basic Granny SquareLearn the fundamentals of crochet and create your first classic granny square.
Week 2 – Double Crochet SquareLearn the double crochet stitch and use it to create a simple square.
Week 3 – Granny Square with Half TreblesBuild on your skills by introducing half trebles and incorporating them into a granny square.
Week 4 – Crocheting in CirclesLearn how to crochet in the round and create a circular crochet piece.
Week 5 – Flower Granny SquarePut your skills together to create a pretty flower-inspired granny square.
Week 6 – Make a Project BagBring your new skills together as we assemble your squares into a useful project bag, while recapping some of the stitches and techniques you’ve learnt throughout the course.

No previous crochet experience is needed. This course is designed for beginners and is perfect if you’ve always wanted to learn but felt a little overwhelmed about where to start.
By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have learnt a range of useful crochet stitches and techniques, created several different crochet pieces and made your own project bag to take home.
