About this Event
This will give voters in Pierce Transit's service area the opportunity to decide whether to fund an increase of local transit.
Expect a presentation covering Pierce Transit's plan to improve service, if approved by voters. This includes details regarding:
- New bus routes and special event service
- More frequent service and shorter wait times
- Later evening and weekend service
- Easier transfers and more direct trips
- Fare-free buses and paratransit for seniors
- Expanded paratransit service for people with disabilities
There will be time for a Q&A with Pierce Transit staff and for attendees to review maps and plan specifics.
Attendees can expect to leave with an understanding of how the measure would impact Pierce Transit service.
