Learn Along: Knitting a Scarf with Miss Kate"Learn Along" is a new kind of workshop at Flourish: a relaxed, budget-friendly way to pick up a new skill in a more casual, collaborative setting. It's less sit-and-receive instruction, more learning and creating together at a comfortable pace.
For our first Learn Along, join Miss Kate for a 7-session course to cast on and knit your very own scarf! Across seven weeks, you'll learn (or brush up on) the fundamentals of knitting, including casting on, the knit and purl stitches, how to keep your tension even, how to read a pattern and a chart, all while working alongside Kate and building your scarf session by session.
What you'll need:
400 yds of worsted weight yarn
Size 8 knitting needles
Tip protectors (recommended, not required)
