About this Event
What happens when you look at manual, repetitive, or time-consuming work and ask: Is there a better way?
For our October Lean Coffee Indy, we’re heading to MISO for a look at how the organization is approaching process improvement and automation—from finding the right opportunities to making new ways of working stick.
We’ll walk through the journey from opportunity to impact: how teams recognize processes that may be good candidates for automation, evaluate and improve the process, determine the right technology approach, and turn solutions into measurable outcomes.
We’ll also share real-world MISO examples and talk about an important part of automation that can sometimes get overlooked: the people side of the change. Building technology is only part of the equation. Creating value requires people to participate, adopt new ways of working, and sustain them.
Whether you’re a Lean Six Sigma practitioner, process improvement professional, change practitioner, technologist, project or product professional—or simply someone who loves finding better ways to work—come learn, ask questions, and connect with the Lean Coffee Indy community.
Expect:
- A look inside MISO and why continuous improvement and automation matter to the organization
- Practical guidance for identifying strong automation opportunities
- A discussion of process improvement, low-code and pro-code automation capabilities
- Real-world automation examples and measurable outcomes
- The people and change side of automation adoption
- Q&A and conversation with MISO practitioners and fellow improvement nerds
