Leamos Juntos/Let's Read Together is an English and Spanish reading program that brings community members of all ages together through food, literature, conversation and prizes. This November, we welcome guest reader Ale Checka, an experienced educator who inspires a love of reading and learning.
Participants will explore poems by Netzahualcoyotl, the "Poet King" of Texcoco, a philosopher, engineer, and warrior, in both English and Spanish while connecting with others through the joy of reading.
