Up for the Leaf Stomp 2026 Challenge?Are you tired of walking the city blocks in your neighborhood or a treadmill at the gym? It’s time to get outdoors and challenge yourself on one of the four routes at the Friends of the Kettle Moraine’s Leaf Stomp 2026 taking place on Saturday, October 10. You can choose to hike/walk 22+ miles, 15 miles, 10 miles, or 5 miles along the beautiful, rugged Ice Age National Scenic Trail through the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit. A shuttle bus will take you to your starting point and then you will navigate the trail back to the Mauthe Lake Recreation Area. You will find refreshment/aid stations along the route to keep you going. When you finish, you will receive a medallion, completion certificate, and bragging rights that you met your challenge.
