About this Event
The SLAM Leadership Conference 2027, Rooted to Rise: Growing Through Pitfalls of Leadership, is a student-focused conference hosted by the University of Alberta’s SLAM Club. Through a keynote, professional perspectives, interactive breakout sessions, and networking, delegates will explore how leaders take initiative, respond to setbacks, and develop the confidence and judgment to lead others.
Designed for undergraduate students interested in leadership and professional growth, the conference connects practical learning with honest conversations about the challenges of becoming a leader. Delegates will have opportunities to reflect on their own experiences, practise responding to leadership challenges, and build connections with peers and professionals.
