About this Event
What does growth look like personally, professionally and spiritually while striving to perform at an optimal level? During Grey Cup week, we are thrilled to welcome several special guests for an engaging panel discussion. Our panellists include (with more to come):
Melissa Lotholz is a three-time Canadian Olympian from rural Alberta who has spent more than a decade competing at the highest levels of bobsleigh, earning numerous accolades including 18 World Cup medals and 2 World Championships silvers. At the 2026 Winter Olympics, she achieved a career-best sixth-place finish in monobob, the top Canadian result across all sliding sports. Melissa shares her experiences with audiences across Canada, encouraging them to pursue excellence, navigate adversity with courage, and find purpose beyond the podium.
Dale Henwood devoted his life to sport development and to improving sport in Canada. He is a former hockey coach, having worked with collegiate and high-performance players in the USA and Canada, as well as men’s Olympic hockey teams. In 1994, he became the first President and CEO of the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta, retiring in October 2020. Dale works tirelessly to advocate for the value that sport and a healthy lifestyle bring to our youth, and is very involved in serving the community through his church and several local and international sports organizations.
