Working in Leadership is more than just making decisions and guiding others. It also requires us to understand ourselves, as well managing stress, navigating challenges, and maintaining your mental and emotional well-being. “Lead Well: The Connection Between Leadership & Mental Health” would be an interactive workshop designed to help current and emerging leaders recognize the importance of connection between effective leadership and mental health. The workshop participants will explore how stress, burnout, emotional regulation, self-awareness, boundaries, and unresolved personal challenges can influence the way that we lead in leadership and the effectiveness and relationships within it. This workshop will provide practical strategies for managing emotional demands, preventing burnout, communicating effectively, and creating healthier environments where both leaders and those they serve can thrive.
Through reflection, discussion, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to lead with empathy, self-awareness, strength, resilience, and intention, while recognizing that taking care of their mental health is not a weakness, it is an essential part of leadership skills.
