ABOUT OUR PRESENTATION:
We’re told to master five steps, move through milestones, and muscle through to the other side. What if we don’t have to arrive buttoned up and whole? In this workshop you’ll explore how self-compassion can help us live more fully after loss. Together, will identify new ways to honor our pain, our healing, and ourselves as we carry on.
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Katie Huey is a coach, writer, and facilitator. Her grief story informs her coaching practice and her passion for helping people find words and care where we often come up short. Her book, "Grief Cookies & Other Comforting Things: Finding Beauty in Life After Loss" was published in 2025. She holds a BA from the University of Colorado and is a graduate of Stanford's Applied Compassion Training. She lives in Colorado with her family.
