Thanksgiving morning plans: compete first, eat later.Come out for a little friendly chaos of a flag football game for mid-singles who are ready to run, laugh, talk trash responsibly, and earn their Thanksgiving dinner.
No need to be an athlete. If you can run, catch, throw, cheer from the sideline, or dramatically blame the sun for a dropped pass, you’ll fit right in.
We’ll play from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning on the ball field of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1988 W 11400 S, South Jordan.
Come solo or bring friends. Teams can be sorted out when everyone arrives.
Expect:
* Flag football
* Friendly competition
* Plenty of chances to meet people
* Questionable athletic decisions
* Zero scouts in attendance
* Full permission to use “I played football this morning” as justification for an irresponsible amount of pie later
Bring water, wear something you can run in, and come ready to have a good time.
And yes, bragging rights that nobody will remember later are absolutely on the line.
