12:00 PMLCK Talking Jack: Cathy Cassady Sylvia—My Life with Mom and Dad
Cathy Cassady Sylvia, in conversation with Steve Edington, will recreate some of the conversation they recorded for an issue of Beat Scene Magazine. In it, Cathy spoke of her memories of her father Neal, and of her often challenging relationship with her mother, Carolyn. Cathy will also read some passages from her book Poetic Portrait which is a collection of Carolyn Cassady’s poetry and prose with commentary from Cathy.
