Atkins Branch of Shreve Memorial Library is pleased to announce that it is participating in the thirteenth annual “Lawyers in Libraries” statewide program in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA), the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association. This year, library patrons across the state have the opportunity to meet with an attorney for brief “Ask-a-Lawyer” consultations in person at participating libraries and over the phone.
On October 29, 2026, Felicia Hamilton will provide free individual consultations on legal issues at 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Atkins branch located at 3704 Greenwood Rd. Shreveport, LA.
Those interested in the event at Atkins branch on Oct. 29, 2026 can sign up. Registration is required. These programs are free and open to the public.
