Join the Lawrence University Bands for our first concert of the school year on Saturday, October 17! "Pax Americana: America 250" is a musical tribute to our nation's 250th anniversary. The concert features uniquely American themes, composers, and genres of music. EVERYONE is welcome to join for this musical celebration of our community and our country! We are excited to welcome Dr. Kevin Sedatole to Lawrence University as our distinguished guest conductor for the evening! Dr. Sedatole currently serves as the Director of Bands at Michigan State University, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Also, the evening opens with "The Prelude," a special pre-concert reception in the lobby of Harper Hall from 6:00pm-7:00pm where all attendees can mingle with the conductors, students, and others.
