Problem: There weren't enough local queer-centered book clubs. Solution: We started one.Join us for Lavender Library, AP’s queer book club, where we gather to read, discuss, and connect around books by and about queer voices. This month, we’re hosting our very own White Elephant Book Exchange!
Come for the books. Stay for the conversation.
How the Book Exchange Will Work:
1. Sign up! Register here on our website. Free to AP Members!
2. Show up: Bring your lovely self and meet fellow book nerds.
3. Bring 1-2 Wrapped Books: Old favorites, future favorites, or that book that’s been judging you from the shelf.
4. Pick & Steal: Take turns choosing. Yes, stealing is part of the game.
5. Go Home with a New Read: Plus recommendations, new friends, and good vibes.
What to expect:
- A cozy, neurodivergent-friendly discussion space
- Gentle structure with opt-in conversation
- Thoughtful discussion about love, community, relationships, and belonging
- Space for vulnerability, humor, differing perspectives, and personal reflection
- A welcoming environment where every voice is valued
