Launch Pad, Scenes from New Plays
Baltimore Playwrights Festival presents Launch Pad: Scenes from New Plays, staged readings of entertaining scenes from eight new plays written, directed, and acted by area talent. Launch Pad will be presented on Wednesday, October 28, 7 p.m. at Vagabond Players, 806 S Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231. Some of the characters you’ll meet include an entertainment mogul fighting to retain control of his company, a young couple who have moved into a new house that is haunted by the poltergeist of a dead poet, enslaved refugees trying to get into Fort Monroe where freedom awaits and passengers going through an airport scanner that sees more than it should.
Scenes will be staged and have a director, movement, props and lighting. Actors will hold scripts. Comedy, drama and lives changing in unexpected ways---please join Baltimore Playwrights Festival for their presentation of Launch Pad: Scenes from New Plays.
