About this Event
Our diminutive 'Museum in a Typecase' tells the story of letterpress and type manufacture in a tray measuring just 82.5 x 37 x 5cm.
Attendees will hear from our Director, Helen Smith, and researcher, Josh Povall, about the inspiration for the museum, the ideas behind it, and some of the fun facts we discovered along the way.
You will have the chance to 'visit' and explore the museum, and to enjoy our accompanying letterpress pamphlet, A (Very) Short History of Printing.
Tickets are free and include a drink on arrival.
