Join licensed mental health counselor, stand-up comedian, and improviser Aimee LeCours for Laughology, an interactive workshop blending comedy techniques with evidence-based mental health practices.
In this workshop, you’ll actively participate in:
-Improv games that build presence, connection, and nervous-system regulation
-Stand-up–style humor reframing to help you find relief and perspective in everyday stressors
-Therapeutic laughter exercises that reduce tension and boost mood
- Mindfulness and body-based techniques that use humor to ground you and increase emotional flexibility, which will also include working through performance or public speaking anxiety
- Guided journaling and joke writing that utilize humor to process emotions into comedic storytelling
You don’t need to be “funny” or have any past experience.
Laughology is designed to help you lower stress, shift negative thought patterns, and reconnect with joy in a way that feels accessible and human.
Come laugh, experiment, and leave with practical tools you can use long after the workshop ends.
