Rockford native and New York City-based comedian Oscar Aydin is coming home to headline the inaugural Laugh Rock, a new live comedy experience produced by Plus Seven Company (P7c). Set for Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, at The Music Box in downtown Rockford, Laugh Rock Live will bring Aydin’s unapologetic, unfiltered and high-energy style to his hometown for a night built around big laughs, live entertainment and a few raised glasses.
Based in New York City, Oscar Aydin has appeared on Bravo, Netflix and Amazon and is a familiar face across NYC clubs and has featured across the country for Jessica Kirson, Hannah Berner and Saturday Night Live cast member Marcelo Hernandez. Bold, sharp and effortlessly chaotic, Oscar has developed a reputation for leaving audiences with a reaction that says it all: “Oh Oscar!”
Before Oscar takes the stage, Kevin Haas will serve as the evening’s opener. A longtime Rockford journalist who began performing stand-up in 2012, Haas brings his own brand of storytelling and comedy to Laugh Rock. His first stand-up special, Necking with Kevin Haas, was recorded just six weeks after he broke his neck in a snowboard crash on May 9, 2023.
