MSU Homecoming Parade
Walk with Latino Spartans in the MSU Homecoming Parade and help us proudly showcase the strength, diversity, culture, and presence of the Latino community at MSU. With more than 10,000 people expected along the parade route, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together and show our Spartan pride.
We are also excited to have Lansing’s Ballet Folklórico de la Luz joining us in the parade, in their beautiful folklórico regalia, helping us celebrate and share our culture with the greater MSU and Lansing communities.
Our participation is about more that being visible. Walking together sends a message that our community is here, connected, and proud to be a part of MSU. It also gives Latino children and families watching the parade an opportunity to see themselves represented and to see the strong Latino community that is here for them at Michigan State University.
If you are not able to walk with us, we hope you’ll still come out, find a spot along the parade route, and cheer on your fellow Latino Spartans as we pass by! We would to see our familia represented both in the parade and along the route. (Parade begins at 6pm)
